Business Development Executive (Law Firms and Legal Services)

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented Business Development Executive to expand our client base with Law Firms and Legal Services and drive growth for our threat intelligence solutions. This role will involve identifying and closing new business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with clients, and collaborating closely with marketing and product teams to ensure a seamless client experience. The ideal candidate is a proactive, tech-savvy professional with experience in the cybersecurity or SaaS space, a deep understanding of client needs, and a proven ability to close complex deals.

Responsibilities

  • New Business Development: Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities with enterprise and mid-market clients. Conduct research to understand prospective clients’ security needs and align DomainSkate’s solutions to solve their challenges.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, working as a trusted advisor to educate and demonstrate the value of DomainSkate’s threat intelligence solutions.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to exceed revenue targets. Use a consultative approach to engage clients and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure clients receive an exceptional experience. Provide feedback to the product team to inform enhancements based on client needs.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to position DomainSkate’s offerings effectively and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts. Provide regular updates to leadership on progress and insights into key growth areas.

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: 5+ years selling software, technology and/or SaaS products to law firms, legal service support companies, and similar organizations. Must have current contacts for these companies.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in cybersecurity, SaaS, or a similar field.
  • Proven Success: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, managing large accounts, and closing complex deals with enterprise and mid-market clients.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of cybersecurity or threat intelligence solutions, with the ability to discuss technical features and their benefits to a non-technical audience.
  • Sales Process Expertise: Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and experience with data-driven sales approaches to track performance and optimize the sales pipeline.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and take initiative to meet and exceed goals.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to work cross-functionally and provide input on product enhancements based on client feedback.
